Sometimes you get wonderful compliments from your kids. Sometimes, well, it's not clear...
Like yesterday, when Monkey asked me what I was doing in this photo. And insisted that no, it really WAS me. And all I could do was laugh.
Apparently she thinks her mother likes to not wear pants and yank her legs in the air. Um. Yeah. I'm all for the no-pants thingy, just not with fish net stockings.
STANDARDS, people, standards.

You could do a lot worse than having your kid think you look like Madonna (pants or not).
I'm sure she was identifying with her Mommy's love for all things purses, wasn't she?
Oh seriously. Like this is the first time you've heard this! Come on - look at those photos of you from junior high. Before I met you and saw that family photo on the wall I asked Nels if Madonna was his sister.
I want to know how a three year old came across that photo.
