I am officially old.
My colleague, who is a mere 6 years younger than me, totally confounded me today with emoticons. I've NO CLUE what they are supposed to mean. Which makes me old.
Can someone translate this (below), puhleez?

Okay, in all fairness, google chat now has animated emoticons so they look much cooler while chatting. I was trying to show someone this because I mentioned using them like a schoolgirl but someone left her browser open while pretending to work and then shut it down before reading the chat.

BTW, speaking of being old, I was really sad to see your peer, Marie Osmond, lose at Dancing With the Stars the other night. She did really well for a gal your age.
