The rumors of our death have been greatly exaggerated

So, yes, we're all still here.

And still doing well, considering.......that in the last two weeks we've had:

4 colds
3 cases of pinkeye (sorry, Grandma!)
1 ear infection
1 (stomach, not swine) flu
1 "really bad throat" (likely strep)
............and a partridge in a pear tree. ha!

Dance Party with Grandma!!!!!!!! WHOOHOOO

Grandma brought some serious bling when she came to visit us. Specifically, jelly rings that blink!

Perfect jewelry for a dance party! (that funny shiny thingy on my finger is a blinking ring....)



(can you tell there is a recent theme in our life? I think we may need to sign Monkey up for some dance classes soon.....else all she ever learns is the white man's overbite, and the lawn mower! ha)

Party!

Last week I was out of town. Went to "school" (aka a national conference on planned giving - wheee!).

Grandma L came to town to help wrangle, and - lucky! - got to go to a party at Monkey's school.

Here's Monkey sitting with Junebug, listening to Junebug's daddy J read. Monkey is a big fan of J - maybe because he's usually the dad rolling around on the floor being silly!


Here is Monkey with her buddy C, always one of the best dressed girls in class.......hmmmm, I think her mommy must still pick out her clothing! ha

Bodies in motion

Monkey went to a birthday party (in a Sukkah - how fun was that!) the other night.

I tried SO HARD to get a non-blurry photo of the dancing and joyful madness when they played musical chairs. I kept deleting the ones I didn't like.....

And then I realized that the blurry ones were actually better!
